A NEW VENUE FOR EFIK YOUTH TO EXPLORE AND CREATE THEIR OWN UNIVERSE

The Youth Division of the ENA was founded in 1999, when there arose a need to cultivate and support emerging generations of young Efiks in America, and address their particular needs, goals, and concerns within the context of the stated mission of the general ENA body.

Since then, the ENA Youth Wing has sought to produce and execute programs, activities, and initiatives that carry-out its own mission to foster community and fellowship amongst Efik youngsters dispersed throughout the U.S., strengthen pride in Efik identity and knowledge of Efik culture, as well as to generally act as a critical resource toward the academic, professional, and personal development of Efik young people residing in the United States. It is the ENA Youth Division’s desire to birth and prepare the next generation of ENA leadership and provide a foundation for emerging, proud, successful Efik citizenry of the United States to not only themselves thrive and prosper, but also meet their own commitments to contributing to the welfare and prosperity of the greater Efik community in the Efik homeland in Nigeria as well as throughout the global diaspora.
