The Efik National Association Inc., USA, (ENA) was formally incorporated in 1997 as a non-profit organization, organized exclusively for charitable purposes under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue code.
Its membership comprises indigenous people of Calabar from the three major groups namely, the Efiks, Efuts, and Quas. ENA aims to operate a world-class consortium that brings together at a national level, all Efik Organizations (otherwise known as chapters) located in different regions of the mainland USA. The Association also works to preserve the Efik cultural heritage, customs, and traditions for future generations; and promote love, peace, unity, and prosperity among the African people. ENA is dedicated to promoting education, the development of Efik youth, health and welfare of the community both in the diaspora and in Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. Pursuant to its goals and objectives, Efik National Association, Inc., USA proactively seeks to develop and nurture partnerships with non-profit, public, and private institutions in the U.S.A to achieve its mission.
