Mrs Ibok Honored in a colorful ceremony by the City Of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Mrs Ibok was honored at a two day celebration of the Echoes of Africa on August 8 and 9, 2014 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania . On August 8, 2014, Ambassador Ibok and other diplomats were recognized for their work during a Diplomatic Reception in their honor at City Hall, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. And on August 9, 2014, Council Woman Jeannie Blackwell, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia recognized Ambassador Sam B. Ibok, Director, Africa 1 Division Department of Political Affairs, United Nations Headquarters for his work and presented him withthe Key to the City of Philadelphia. This prestigious event, held during the Echoes of Africa celebration, took place at the Philadelphia Zoo before a large audience, including Africans and Caribbean Immigrant communities from the Delaware Valley area and local dignitaries. Ambassador Ibok was accompanied by his beautiful wife, Mrs ———-Ibok. Several members of the Efik National Association Inc., USA (ENA) were in attendance, including Mr. AsuQuo Ukpong , Chairman, Dr Bernadine Ahonkhai , vice Chair ENA Board of trustees, Mr. and Mrs Itu A. Otu and Ms. Amua Fran Ahonkhai.
